Find you inner peace with Raja Yog

Raja Yoga deals with the internal perception of body and mind. All actions performed by us throughout the day are external in nature. We hardly spend any time thinking about what is going inside our body, where is mind and thoughts flowing, how the nerve currents flow within the body with each actions like listen, touch, smell, view.

Steps mentioned below is a very small part of Raja yoga but enough for the busy and working professionals. It will calm the mind, body and bring down the anger, proud, jealousy and other evil thoughts to some extent.

Calm the body and mind
1. Close your eyes. Sit straight with chest, neck and head in one line.
2. You will realise that the mind is behaving very sporadically. Let it be.
3. Watch your mind as a spectator and just watch what it is thinking. After some time you will realize that it is becoming calmer.
Breath deeper
4. Now bring your attention towards breathing. Breath deeper, inhale pure air inside your lungs and exhale it out without stopping.
5. You can try to feel the flow of nerve currents in spinal cord. Going from down to up.
Meditation
6. After some time pick a point inside the body. And try to concentrate your mind towards that point, without thinking anything else. This point can be between the eyes, in forehead, in heart, above part of head, any of the chakras e.t.c.
Om
7. Take a deep inhale and then recite Oooommmmmm with each exhale. Do it 3-5 times. This is optional.
8. Perform the meditation again.

Do it initially for 10 minutes and you can increase the time after some days.

There are many other breathing exercises like Pranayama e.t.c given by rishi Patanjali. All of them purify our nerves and provide many other benefits. You can find many videos on youtube for Pranayama.

There is another field of yoga called Hatha Yoga which deals with physical postures of body. That is to keep the body fit and healthy.

Relation between a drunk monkey and human mind

I read a paragraph similar to this from one of the writings of Swami Vivekanand and found it nice. Suppose there is a monkey with unstable mind, which is monkey's natural behaviour(some human also posses this behavior). He consumes alchohal making his mind more unstable. To make his unstability worse, a bee stings him. And now suppose a ghost also enters his body. Poor monkey!! Isn't he ?? Same is the case with human mind. Unstable because of his daily routine, lifestyle, interaction with different people, ideas. Similar to monkey, to make things more unstable, he drinks the alchohal of desire. Then a bee of jealousy stings him. And a ghost name proud enters his body to make the mind uncontrollable. What do you think would be the condition of this human. This is the case with all of us.

Your website, your domain and the link between them

Most of the IT professionals are expert in web related technologies using which they can easily create cool web applications. But web hosting, domain name, linking their domain with the website are some of the questions which stop them from creating their own websites. This is because most of us work in IT companies where we do not worry about these details at all. Plan your website and infrastructure  : I am sure you people are good enough in planning for your website and technology to be used. You can create website using your own infrastructure and deploy it to the server provided by any web hosting company. Or  Use infrastructure of any renowned company which will help you in deployment too. e.g I used a service provided by google called Google App engine . And finally the site was deployed too with app engine's help. Purchasing domain name: There are many websites which provide domain name service. Price varies from what Top level do...
